Kimochi Sansei Live! Kimono Poster

For decades, Sansei Live! was a major fundraising event for Kimochi senior services. Kimochi has provided culturally sensitive, Japanese language based program and services to over 3,000 Bay Area seniors and their families each year. 

 

Of all the Sansei Live! posters, this one was probably our most elaborate effort. This 16-color silkscreened poster was technically challenging. What began as a sheet of silver Mylar became a dramatic image of a kimono swirling with opaque and transparent colors.
